IANAL, but it seems like you have to obtain an extra license (read buy another version of) for VMWare in order to run it on two computers. The total number of designated users may not exceed the Number of Licensed Users. If you are an entity, each copy of the Software may be used by one designated individual user only, unless permitted otherwise by your payment of applicable license fees under a VMware approved licensing model. I currently have Workstation 15 pro license key. You may not share or use concurrently the Software except as expressly permitted in this EULA.
This allows you to run any application that runs on the supported guest operating systems, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Apache Web Server, Microsoft Visual Studio, Kernel debuggers, Firewalls, VPN software, and much more. VMware grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable license, without rights to sublicense, to :smileyinfo: make a number of copies of the Software less than or equal to the Number of Licensed Users for the purpose of installing a single copy of the Software on an equivalent number of personal computers, each of which is running a validly licensed copy of the operating system for which the Software is designed and (ii) have up to the Number of Licensed Users use the Software solely for your own internal information processing services and computing needs. VMware Workstation is a line of Desktop Hypervisor products which let users run virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes clusters. VMware Workstation Pro is the equivalent of a full PC, with full networking and devices.
